Just went up a nearby mountain (finally). Saw snow (not as much as in the Baltics, thankfully), loads of trees, and some mountains far off in France. Also took a great tram ride up to the top. Is tram the right word for those cable car things? Maybe it's gondola. I don't know; I'm from San Francisco--not too many snow-covered peaks there. :-P
