just arrived in st petersburg after a long ass bus ride. spent some time in lithuania visiting friends and my old favorite places. lots of ugly new hotels there but aside from that hasnt changed a whole lot.

st petersburg will be exciting. first time in russia, plus i can't speak or read any russian whatsoever. headed to a friend's country home for some good old russian-style relaxation (ie, food, drink and sauna). after sitting on my ass for 60 hours over the last week or so, i'm up for just about anything, as long as it doesn't involve sitting in place for hours on end or eating food wrapped in plastic.
